I agree, i've noticed lately that the track has lost a bit of banking in one and two.

We found out a few years ago the worst thing they could do is dig it up and try to get it tacky in a matter of 2 days, yall remember that race?

On second thought, if you've watched the vids of the summer nats. about 1/2 of them have rubbered up this year.

The shows I attended never took rubber. A couple were black slick like Peoria was last night. There is always a prefered groove but cars were able to run more than one line.
Last nights track was not one of those tracks. If they pack it as tight as they did last night Tues show may not be near as good as it has been most of the year.

I can't remember which ones, i know kankakee rubbered, fairbury rubbered up last night. There's been quite a few more that locked down as well, one of the minnesota tracks was rubbered up in the heat races. Weather has played alot into that factor because it's been so hot.

LOL!!! that was a good one, but i haven't been to any yet. Watched em all on dirtondirt.com, it's been an odd year for the summer nats. You usually don't see any of the tracks they run at take on rubber, and a bunch of them have. Heat has alot to do with it though.

Wanted to save the tires for peoria, which made little difference. Our car is off right now we've been fighting some issues and decided not to go to canton.
